GI-QRP CONVENTION SATURDAY 25 JUNE 2022
Venue: Tandragee Golf Club, Markethill Rd, Tandragee, Craigavon BT62 2ER.
There is ample car parking on site and there is good access for wheelchair
users, etc.
Doors open: 09:00.
Entrance Cost: £3
Raffle: There will be a raffle to help with the running costs. There will be a
range of QRP related prizes, including some kindly donated by Kanga UK, and
the G-QRP Club.
Traders: G-QRP Club Sales and the RSGB Book Shop will be in attendance and a
small number of other traders will have stands.
Talks: A number of speakers are lined up as follows:

Remote Access: If you are unable to attend the rally in person, you can book to
watch the talks streamed live via Zoom. Cost is £5 and the joining link will be
e-mailed no later than 24 June.

Buildathon: We will be building a simple Morse tutor kit supplied by Kanga UK.
The completed tutor plays letters, numbers or a mixture, with variable speed
and spacing. There is also provision for plugging in a Morse key to practice
sending code.

Catering: the Golf Club will be offering a range of bar snacks at lunch time, and
in the evening. The bar will be open throughout the Convention.
Hot Buffet Lunch: There is an option of a hot buffet lunch at a cost of £12. This
must be pre-ordered at least one week before the Convention, but will be paid
for on the day.
The menu includes:
• Main Course: Chilli Beef, Chicken Curry, Peppered Pork and Vegetable
Bean Cassoulet
• Sides: Chips, Rice, Salad, Creamed potatoes, Vegetables and Garlic Bread
